Yes court cases featuring IPad vs. Galaxy Tab are all the rage.On 13 October 2011 Apple took Samsung to court arguing that the Samsung Galaxy infringes on Apple’s MiPad patents. However the judge stated that Apple was having problems establishing the validity of its patents.

Apple has sought that Samsung be stopped from selling Galaxy products in the USA.

There are already more than 20 cases in 10 countries where the two behemoths are facing each other down.
A week earlier An Australian court had temporarily stopped all sales of Galaxy in the country.

Apple argues that the Galaxy tab 10.1 copies the Iphone and Ipad.

However some mobile providers such as Verizon and T mobile have opposed Apple’s request saying that this would hurt holiday sales.

What does this mean for consumers who own Galaxy or are planning to buy one? It means that there is some possibility that Samsung Galaxy could be discontinued. Some have said that this may affect Galaxy sales. However this will be clear as time goes by.
